A HISTORIC BUILDING DESIGNED BY FRANÇOIS LE CŒUR
Built in 1911, Grands Boulevards was one of the first telephone exchanges in Paris. It was here that the famous “telephone operators” manually connected calls, making the building a landmark in the history of French communications.
After housing a post office beneath its iconic dome, the building is now embarking on a new chapter in its history with an ambitious renovation led by Covivio.
A PRESERVED ART DECO HERITAGE
Designed by François Le Cœur and designated a historic monument, Grands Boulevards stands out for its remarkable industrial architecture. Its brick facade, monumental dome, glass roofs, mosaics, and wrought-iron clock by Szabo are all elements that contribute to its identity.
The renovation project is based on a simple principle: to preserve and highlight this exceptional heritage while meeting contemporary needs.
A NEW WORK DESTINATION
Designed as a true living space, Grands Boulevards offers 7,300 m² of workspaces and amenities within a unique architectural setting. The project stands out in particular for its exceptional scale, with spaces featuring ceilings up to 7 meters high, 1,100 m² of outdoor areas, and a rooftop offering panoramic views of Paris.

ALREADY ADOPTED BY THE CREATIVE INDUSTRIES
Before its renovation, Covivio temporarily opened the site to members of the creative industry to experiment with new uses and breathe life into the space.

Fashion shows, exhibitions, private dinners, showcases, and cultural events took place one after another within the building. Chloé, Lacoste, Dries Van Noten, Ami, Time Out, Pris Internationale, Rabanne, Comme des Garçons, and KidSuper all helped write this new chapter in its history.
THE COVIVIO APPROACH
For Covivio, the office must be a desirable destination, conducive to collective performance and capable of constantly reinventing itself.
